Ana Aitcheson bringing over 21 years of experience in the community and not-for-profit sector.
Beginning her career as a frontline social worker in New Zealand, Ana has built her leadership practice from the ground up. She has since progressed through operational and executive roles, and is now proud to lead Dawn House
Ana is a results-driven, proactive leader known for driving strategic growth, strengthening organisational stability, and guiding teams through periods of change in complex, high-need environments. Her leadership is grounded in strong governance, accountability, and a deep understanding of frontline service delivery.
Passionate about creating meaningful and lasting impact, Ana has dedicated her career to improving systems, empowering people, and responding to local community need. She is committed to innovation, collaboration, and building services that are sustainable, trauma-informed, and values-led.

Recently appointed Chair of the Board, Bel is a dynamic and results-oriented leader with over 25 years of executive-level experience across diverse sectors, including not-for-profit, private enterprise, and government. As the business owner and Managing Director of The BelRose Group, she has excelled in driving organisational growth, cultural transformation, and strategic planning.
Bel has extensive leadership expertise in people and culture, employee engagement, industrial relations, organisational redesign and executive remuneration.
Bel’s commitment to mental health and wellbeing, along with her proven ability to foster positive workplace cultures, aligns perfectly with the ethos of Dawn House.

Georgia brings extensive marketing and communications experience from both the private and public sectors. A passionate advocate for volunteering and supporting vulnerable members of the community, she is committed to contributing her skills to advance the vital work of Dawn House.
Recently appointed as Secretary, Georgia assists with the organisation’s marketing and fundraising efforts, helping to raise awareness of domestic and family violence services and prevention across Darwin.

Tara is a finance professional with extensive experience in the not for profit and public sectors. Specialising in financial management and leadership, Tara brings demonstrated expertise in strategic planning and strengths based, community-focussed solutions.
Tara’s passion for social justice and equity aligns perfectly with Dawn House strategic vision and as the Treasurer, Tara is responsible for the financial administration of the organisation, and using these strong results to ensure the financial viability and future growth of Dawn House.

Kellie is an experienced senior executive with a career dedicated to empowering individuals and organisations to achieve their full potential. With extensive leadership roles spanning Government and Non-Government sectors across Human Resources, Health, Education, Children and Family Services, Aged Care, and NDIS, Kellie’s career has consistently focused on enhancing equitable access to services for diverse communities.
Kellie brings a broad range of corporate expertise to her role on the Board of Dawn House and is focused on supporting the organisation to achieve strategic outcomes for women and children experiencing domestic, family and sexual violence.

Laura is a senior lawyer and governance professional with extensive experience in the resources and energy sectors and corporate governance. She is committed to supporting Dawn House to ensure it can continue providing a safe haven to women and children.
Laura holds a Masters in Law and is a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia. She lives on the Sunshine Coast with her family.

Katya is a senior lawyer with broad commercial and technology experience.
Katya has a passion for social justice, supporting those experiencing hardship and for creating a safe community. Katya continues to provide pro bono services alongside her commercial work.
Katya’s values, knowledge and skills are well aligned to support the work of Dawn House in assisting women and children experiencing violence.
